Ecovision Renewables has been widely recognised as the fastest growing renewable energy company in the UK. In February 2011, Ecovision developed a leading domestic solar PV business on the back of government FITs.
Ecometrica is a company of specialists and experts in GHG accounting, ecosystem services, climate change policy, remote sensing and web based programming.
GEO provide an end-to-end energy management experience. giving people the power to shape their energy consumption. Products and services include in-home displays, mobile and online services for electricity, water, heat, gas boilers and microgeneration.
LightwaveRF is an IOT (Internet Of Things) company that designs and manufactures a range of intelligent energy controls (heating, lighting, power, sensors) that connect with smart devices (phones, computers).
Gen community Ventures empowers individuals and communities through large scale community energy projects for local authorities and housing associations.
Fairphone.. building a phone to create a fairer economy. Fairphone is a social enterprise that is building a movement for fairer electronics
Advizzo combines behavioural science and machine learning to bring utility companies a customer engagement platform to help reduce water and energy waste.
EXITS
Breathing Buildings is a Cambridge University spinnout, set up to develop and commercialise a unique low energy natural ventilation system for buildings.
Firefly Solar Generators design and manufacture off-grid, portable and permanent solar generators. They provide power for everything from UK events to work connecting rural communities in developing countries to electricity and the internet.
Good Energy was founded by Juliet Davenport in 1999 as the UK’s first 100% renewable electricity supplier.
Homesun is a pioneer in free domestic solar PV installations in the UK. Founded in 2010 by serial entrepreneur Daniel Green, it catalyzed an industry of exponential growth. In July 2012, Homesun sold its solar assets to Aviva for £100m.
BERTI LEADERSHIP FUND
Although we mostly invest in businesses, we also invest in people within them. In 2016 we launched our Berti Leadership Fund, offering bursaries to individuals within our portfolio companies, enabling them to attend transformational retreats at 42 acres.
